Synopsis
Along the Amur River, mountains abound with mysterious lively treasures. The gifts of the sky were only visible to those who honor the powers that flow through the vast taiga. To find what human desires, ritual offerings to the mountain’s guardian spirits must be properly performed. But most importantly, one must face the gods with a serene, translucent heart. An animated reinterpretation of an old Jurchen legend from the 13th century.

Director's statement
A friend once said that beauty is an inherent element of pain – maybe we only come to truly appreciate the texture of life as we experience great pain.
Transferring this observation into the realm of animated imagery: independent 2D hand drawn format isp ossibly the most painful , torturesome way (and p erhaps ; though only by walking through this the loneliest journey) excruciating slow burning fire that one can reach the animated jewel. Fellow animators might relate to th is, for some share similar pain.
For the spectators, I simply hope you would enjoy the piece. Some parts of our human history are physically irretrievable (people die, languages disappear, homelands disintegrate...). Yet some parts of the dead can always be reimagined, or reincarnated, to enrich the living.
