Director's statement
Immortals is a work which is part of the choreographic project ''We will be giantess when we die'' carried out by the artist Elizabeth Crispo.
Elizabeth initially asked a dance artist, Bettina Szabo, to invite a filmmaker to work with her on a specific premise: In what environment do you evolve without crushing yourself?
The creation of the work was done in collaboration between these two artists, Bettina Szabo and Mark Durand, with great artistic freedom and editorial independence.
