Director's statement
For a while, silence was a crucial part of my recovery. It allowed me to forget, to keep quiet, to soothe. To rebuild myself around the scar that the attack had left on me. But I knew that if I ever wanted to get back on my feet and make sure it never happened again, to me or to the people I loved, I'd have to find my voice again. Break my silence.
