Yannick Nolin is a filmmaker and photographer based in Quebec City. After film studies in Saint-Hyacinthe and Montreal, he worked in the field within the Kino movement. His passion for photography was born during his many trips to Peru. He has indeed given video training to street youth in Iquitos (a city located in the Amazon) in partnership with the association La Restinga, which works to their reintegration through the arts. Following this strong and rewarding experience and returning to Quebec, he met the collective Les Triggeres with whom he set up, in 2009, the professional and social project: KINOMADA. This non-profit organization organizes short film creation laboratories around the world, bringing together artists and passionate artisans from around the world.

Yannick currently devotes his time to the general direction of KINOMADA and continues to work as director and director of photography. In parallel, he continues his many journeys of cooperation where he captures moments, places, characters that touch him.
