Biography

Born in Bas-Saint-Laurent, David Gamache studied human sciences at Cégep de Rivière-du-loup. At the age of 29, animated by an interest in documentary, he enrolled at the School of Cinema and Video Professions in the program The Art of Editing: Cinema-TV-Web as well as in Techniques of Realization of documentary films. Parallel to his studies, he directed two short films, including Ni vu and known, which received a warm welcome in some festivals internationally. He has recently directed a third short documentary, in which he is interested in human rituals using this time a more experimental cinematographic approach.
