Biography

Fannie Giguère's practice is mainly in visual arts, her medium is video. She holds a BA in Visual Arts and a MA in Pedagogy and Visual Arts from Laval University. In 2003, she became a member of La Bande Vidéo where she became involved on the board of directors for five years. In addition to his installation practice, Fannie makes the creation of "live" dressing and makes different types of video documents for artistic and cultural organizations of the City of Quebec: vignettes, advertising, interviews, portraits ... Fannie has realized a very short film in 2004, which has been shown in a few festivals in Canada and the United States. She received several scholarships for her work in visual arts and the last in 2013, from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, for the writing of a documentary script.
